The All Progressives Congress, APC,
has said that the Nigerian children are imprisoned by poor education, hunger
and diseases because the government has refused to enforce laws that protect
them.
The party made this known in a
series of tweets using the hashtag #WhyWeMarch via its micro-blogging,
Twitter page, @APCNigeria, which boast of over 114, 000 followers.
The party noted that the Nigerian
health system makes it difficult for children to survive infancy, arguing that
there is very little evidence of the Child’s Right Act in the life of the
Nigerian child.
